VANAS Concert Band

in this activity we played in the concert band for all the teachers from all the schools that came. This day was nice, because we actually got to show people from other schools, that even though we are a small school we can have great things such as the concert band. I had a great time that day.

Teacher VANAS

The 22nd of january we didnt have class, because t here was a teacher's VANAS at school. Some students came, because they wanted to help the school to show the other teachers around. It was actually really cool to show the other teachers, because you felt that you actually knew more than them. Sometimes it was a challenge because when they did the schedules, they didnt put the correct numbers of the rooms, and we had to solve ourselves, those problems. I actually liked showing people around. We also played with the band at luch time for the teachers.

AYA Xmas party

On December, we went to an orphanage, to play with kids, so they had their Christmas party. We played with many kids, and they enjoyed their time. We arrived, and made groups that would take care of about 4 to 5 kids, and we would play with them. This activity actually didnt work and we just took 1 or 2 kids. The day passed by and we got to the point were we had to sit down the kids so they could eat, and listen to music that the Sax Quartet played. Finally we gave the kids their Christmas presents, and we picked everything up, and left the orphanage. It was really fun.

Spanish Drama

On december, we did our annual Spanish Drama presentation, I acted as Dalila, the main character of one of the plays. I really enjoyed doing spanish drama again, because I like acting, and I like to interpret characters that are not the same as me. For me interpreting Dalila was specially hard to do, because she is completely mean, and I didnt know how to do a convincing evil laugh! So just like 2 days before presenting the play, I actually laughed like an evil character, so it took me a while...

I personally think that this play was a suscess just like last year's play, and hope to be on next year's play also...

Welcome Back BBQ, selling food

In this activity I helped one of the food stands, this activity was kind of slow, but I had a great time because I got to do the activity with one of my closest friends.
